Product Description:

The Sand Artistic Cremation Urn is symbolizing the origins of life. The square and rectangular shape of the urn reminds us of the walls of a room that contains the daily life and its objects. Just like Etruscan urns the box shape and small feet are featured the old believe while the top is made of sand with easy changing shapes, never the same and always in movement, just like our planet Earth which essences may be invoked by incenses burnt on the top of the cremation urn. The decoration is mother-of-pearl with steel inlays is a stylization of a tree and recalls different religious symbols. The mother-of-pearl, with iridescent colors, represents the vital lymph that unites the ocean depths with the atmosphere and the steel inlays remind the ivy that lives in symbiosis with the tree. Inlays in steel made with laser cut and set on blue toned mother-of-pearl details, is made of multiple black opaque varnished wood plies and has extra-fine white quartz sand on its top.
