 Cracking in clear coat

Absolutely beautiful urn! I was surprised at the cracking throughout the clear coat. I called and found out that this wasn't a flaw with my urn but that all Blue Moon Pet Cremation Urns had this characteristic. I wish the description would have provided this information. I was given the option to return or exchange the urn but choose to keep it as it is truly beautiful otherwise and the cracks are only visible very close up.

I love the variation & depth of color in the glaze of this urn. It came quickly & was well packed - it arrived in perfect condition. I purchased this for my beloved Greyhound - the kind of dog that only comes around "once in a blue moon".

I ordered this urn for the ashes of my old boy, Orley, a true gentleman of a Greyhound. I liked the title of the piece "Blue Moon" because a dog like him only comes around "once in a Blue Moon" so I thought it was appropriate. The urn is really lovely and it arrived in excellent condition. It is large enough to accommodate Orley's ashes with room to spare. The coloring is slightly different, as handmade pieces will be, but I think it's even more beautiful!
