The Boston Red Sox Baseball Cremation Urn is made from solid wood. This baseball urn is made for a true fan and will become a family heirloom for generations to come.
The Urn comes with a baseball which could be replaced with your own special ball from your collection. Many of our families let family and friends sign the baseball at the funeral or afterward.
The baseball urn comes with an empty plaque which you see in the picture. You have the option of engraving the plaque (you can send the plaque off to be engraved or have it locally engraved).

I bought this for my Dad to use when the time came. Unfortunately the time came far quicker than we thought. I must say that everyone at his Memorial Service, which was just last night (May 27, 2009), were very impressed with the urn and wanted to know where to purchase one. I would also like to suggest broadening the availability of sports to include NHL, NBA, NFL and college teams. We had a lot of people asking about specific teams. Even the funeral home, Campbell, Lee & Mooody in Beverly MA, were impressed. Thank you for an EXCELLENT product!
