Bronze and Granite Cemetery Headstone Pillars for Cremation Ashes

Cremation has long been a controversial topic for many throughout history. During the dawn of the civilizations that helped shape history, it was, for the most part, accepted and practiced by several societies. With the spread of Christianity, cremation of the human body become inappropriate, and even frowned upon. While that was so, it was eventually discovered that cremation was not only an acceptable form of disposition, but even a more hygienic solution, especially during large-scale pandemics, such as the spreading of plagues. Eventually, cremation became an acceptable practice, and in recent years it has gained more and more popularity throughout several different countries, and even religions. With that said, it stands to reason that the memorial industry reflected the rise in popularity of cremation, and has evolved greatly to offer families who had a loved one cremated a number of ways that they can memorialize their lost loved one.

One of the most interesting innovations is that of the cremation pillar. A cremation pillar is made of a durable granite stone, and features a hollow chamber that holds and protects the cremated remains for all eternity. These elegant memorials feature a number of exquisitely etched designs that range from a serene pond, to an elaborate etching of a religious scene. The top of the cremation pillar is often slightly beveled, to help ease the process of interring the cremation vessel, and is secured with a beautiful bronze plaque. The pillars can be customized to accommodate the remains of one or more individuals, for those who desire a family memorial, and, of course, can be personalized with the information of the loved one, which is usually etched into the sides of the pillar. One of our most popular designs features a more stout pillar, that is covered with a bronze plaque that will feature the likeness of the loved one, etched into the surface of the bronze through an ingenious process. As with our more traditional memorial grave markers, we contact the cemetery with the details of the pillar order to ensure that the pillar will abide by their regulations.

There is no question that the cremation process has not only gained acceptance, but even respect in the memorial industry. Now in days there are a variety of ways that families can honor the life of their loved ones who have been cremated. Some families may prefer a more traditional way to lay to rest their loved one, regardless of the form of disposition. For those looking for a permanent remembrance, as opposed to the scattering or spreading of the cremation ashes, a cremation ash pillar can create an unforgettable memorial tribute that contain and preserve the earthly essence it holds for all eternity.

"I purchased three flag cases. I was looking for something well built and ascetically pleasing. It had to be American made. The Trooper Flag case suited my needs perfectly. The price of the cases were good. There was no sales tax and shipping was free. They also came with a free engraved plate. I was not able to find a better value anywhere. One of the cases was scratched when I received it. I called the number on the shipping label right away. I spoke to a women whose name I believe was Crystal. There was no hassle. She was friendly and professional. She explained to me how to make the exchange. Three days later I had the new case. I don't always get that kind of customer service. So tell Crystal she did a good job. Over all, my experience with was excellent. The flag cases have honored my father, uncle and brother with the respect they deserve."
