The keepsake pendant can be filled with cremation ashes, a lock of hair, funeral flowers, the earth from the grave site or any small memory item. "Although my original purchase here was for a friend and her family, upon receipt of this product I was so pleased I decided that I would also order this for my father's ashes for my family also, just will choose a different vial topper than the angel. Plan on using your own type of funnel because I can say for sure that it really isn't much help here. Way too small for what its intended purpose!"Brenda Wallace
