Pretty Little Dragonfly"This item is even more beautiful in person. The compartment for the cremains is quite small, so I was thankful to have my jewelers tools nearby, I don't think I could have done it without them, my hands are too unsteady to hold things still. It took me a minute to figure out how the dragonfly came apart; but, after a bit of manipulation, I figured out that the bale of the necklace unscrews from the pendant. I chose to use the provided glue after I placed the cremains, and I have not had any issues with it working it's way open. The dragonfly is a striking piece of jewelry, and knowing that "my girl" (Grandma) is always with me, is an amazing comfort.
If you are on the fence about this item, it is worth the money.
The only complaint I would have is in regards to packaging/shipping. The display box was broken when the envelope arrived, as there was no packing material (bubble wrap,etc) around the item to keep it safe; it was just loose in the shipping package. I am not sure if the post office handled it rough, or the packing envelope was a poor choice. I didn't plan on keeping the display box anyway, and the product inside the broken box was fine.
