Headstone Pictures

There is something about the timeless beauty of a black and white photograph that can absolutely capture the eye and move the soul. A famous quote by Ted Grant comes to mind when considering black and white photography, "When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls!" This rings especially true when considering a portrait that is to add personalization to a final remembrance, such as a grave marker or headstone. These black and white images not only capture a memory, they do so in a way that entices the viewer of the portrait to really consider the image. They may contemplate what the color of the clothing and hair in the image was, or maybe even go further to wonder if the outfit the individual is wearing was selected for a certain reason.
