The Galactic Dichroic Cremation Ash Pendant is hand crafted from glass into a stunning lampwork bead that will hold the precious ashes of your loved one. The bead is made by melting the glass with a torch at temperatures over 2000 degrees, and carefully wrapping it around a steel rod. Because of the high temperatures used, the carbon in the ashes is burned off, making them appear a brilliant white color in the glass bead. After it has been formed and fused with the ashes of your loved one, the bead is then annealed, or slowly cooled in a kiln, to ensure durability and strength. The ashes will appear to be gracefully suspended in the bead, along with dichroic accents throughout, for a simply breathtaking memorial pendant. Select your choice of either sterling silver or a gold plated finish for the bail, to add the elegant final touch to your pendant.
