The picture is burned (baked into the ceramic, is a better description) in many different baking steps. You can see our memorial pictures on many headstones, grave markers and on the front of mausoleums in pet cemeteries across the world. You have the option of adding an adhesive backing (made by 3M™ industrial grade) to it for easy installation, or you can add metal pins on the back if selecting a frame with the portrait.
