Home & Garden Angels
There is no doubt that life can certainly be hectic at times, to say the least. In a world full of hustle and bustle, even the night is no longer a time of rest, but instead full of life and energy. It is not uncommon to set out a time for ourselves during the day, only to instead pass that time taking care of small errands, or perhaps getting a headstart on some homework. While it is always good to keep on track with daily demands and responsibilities, it is also very important to our own health to take a few minutes out of the day for ourselves. According to the American Psychological Association, taking at least twenty minutes out of the day to allow the mind and body to completely relax, such as through meditation, can help alleviate the symptoms associated with a vast array of conditions, such as hypertension, insomina, depression, and physical ailments such as arthritis. While this may be true, how can we remind ourselves to take that time of rest?
