Amethyst Tear Bottle

The Amethyst Tear Bottle features a swirl of lavender glass that wraps around the base of the tear bottle. Crowning the cap is an amethyst corundum cabochon. The rim of the bottle is hand-painted with 24K gold luster. A Grade-A amethyst cabochon tops a Sodalite stone and hand-carved cork stopper to form the cap. Tear Bottles have been a part of world's history since before Christ. Historians have found their evidence in ancient Rome and Egypt. Legend has it that our ancestors used the small glass vessels to collect their tears, as a means for mourning and respect.
