The Alasila Raku Cremation Urn is handcrafted, wheel thrown and fired piece. This burnished piece is fired in a sager, in which different organic elements and minerals are added, to give the body its unique markings. The lid features a bamboo finial, which is secured to the urn with copper, brass and steel fittings. The cover has a deep flange which, if desired, is easily cemented in place with silicone calking. Due to the nature of the materials and the firing process, colors, patterns and actual dimensions may vary a little.
Top opening lid could be sealed with adhesive.
