The Mayan Cremation Urn is handcrafted by a master ceramic artist. This beautiful cremation urn is burnished to achieve a smooth finish, and then fired until it is white-hot. The urn is then removed from the kiln and horse-hair and feathers are applied to the surface, giving it it's distinguished design. The urn lid features a brass cork handle which helps in sealing the piece .
Because of the handmade nature, no two urns made in this style will ever be the same, ensuring the vessel will be as unique as the person it memorializes.
Top opening lid could be sealed with adhesive or silicone caulking facilitating easy removal at a future date.
