Dedication Plaques

Since the beginning of our collective history, mankind has always honored the memory of a loved one by marking their final resting place with a memorial of some sort. While at first, only individuals of great importance in society were paid tribute to with large, permanent monuments, as societies evolved, memorials went from simple stones or wooden plaques to headstones that were larger and more complex in their nature. The industrial era allowed supplies to become more available, which in turned allowed families to honor their loved one's with permanent tributes, regardless of their station in society. Whether it be a simply collection of stones or an ornate standing monument, marking the space for the departed shows not only respect for their life and the memories they leave behind, but also provides grieving friends and family somewhere that they can remember the lost person and pay their respects to them. The latter is especially important because it can be a great help during the grieving process, as the memorial serves as a reminder that the lost individual's memory will always live on through their loved ones. Now in days there are countless ways to create a tribute to a dearly departed person, whether it be at their grave site or simply in an area that is dedicated to their memory.
