It goes without saying that one could go days without noticing, let alone appreciating, the natural beauty around us. In a world where nearly all residential areas are, more or less, industrialized, nature has most certainly taken a backseat to other modern marvels that capture our attention. Rather than take hikes, enjoy sunsets, or simply picnic and enjoy the clean, fresh air, many prefer to go to movie theaters or shopping for entertainment, or eat out in restaurants. Some can even go months without opening the windows of their homes to let in some fresh air, as nearly all houses are outfitted with air conditioners or heaters to control the temperature. Indeed, it seems that the days where everyone truly enjoyed the outdoors are long gone. This is why garden benches can be significantly important, as they remind us to stop, sit, and enjoy the natural beauty that the world offers us for free.
