Pet Casket Information, Guidance and Tips
Pet Caskets are also sometimes called pet containers or even pet coffins. But no matter what you call them, pet caskets are a great, comforting part of any memorial service planned for a lost special friend. Grieving experts say it can be important to say goodbye properly, and these products certainly help with that. A dignified service with a beautifully crafted pet wood casket, for example, can work wonders for helping a grieving pet owner cope with the difficult loss. Many pet cemeteries and other property owners who allow pet burials will require that caskets be made of a material that will not breakdown easily underground. Accordingly, most pet caskets today - when they are not intentionally biodegradable – are made of a very tough, long lasting (but yet surprisingly lightweight) plastic composite known as polyurethane. This material will not breakdown over time, assuring that the ground above the casket will remain stable for landscaping purposes for years. Biodegradable caskets, meanwhile, are intended to absorb into the earth relatively quickly. |
