Angels have long been seen as a strong, heavenly symbol, but why is it that they are so exemplified, and so long idolized? It is not their outward beauty, or even their extraordinary abilities, but instead, their guiding presence that has made angels a long studied and admired. The idea of a being that embodies benevolence, grace, selflessness, among other attributes gives us something to strive for. Moreover, knowing that a guardian angel that posses these traits is watching over us and our loved, ones, guiding us through the perils we face in life, is all the more comforting, as we know we do not have to travel our earthly journey alone.
