There is nothing like the soft purr and playful, if not mischievous, nature of a cat. Jean Cocteau once said, "I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul." Many cat owners can certainly agree with that statement, in the fact that a cat has a way of taking over the home, and molding it into their own establishment. Even we, in a way, become furniture to the cat, in the fact that when we sit, they usually stake their spot in our laps. While this may be so, it only adds to the lovable nature of these captivating creatures. While they may be somewhat bossy, there is nothing like the warm and affectionate purring of a cat, or how they are perfectly content when they can cuddle in our arms, or playfully entertain, as they know they have all the attention of the room. With that said, when one loses one of these remarkable companion animals, the grief that ensues can certainly be vast.
