Pet Memorial Art

Many pet owners will agree, that just as each piece or work of art is an individual creation, so are our pets. These wonderful, often whimsical, companions truly have a character all of their own, regardless of what breed or even species they may be. Cynthia S. Bendix, an artist, once said, 'My angel dog has been an inspiration for most of my paintings and photographs. He is sometimes recognized from my artwork hanging in a local gallery. My dog is my constant loving companion, my best friend and life-saver." We feel that this quote is not only a common thought for many, but particularly heartwarming in that Ms. Bendix shares that while her dog may be gone, as she calls him an 'angel dog', he is still a warm comfort and constant inspiration for her. This just goes to show that while a pet may be gone from our arms physically, their memory will always be something that we have to treasure.
