Cremation Urns made from Solid Bronze to withstand the Test of Time

For centuries many civilizations utilized bronze to create functional and decorative works, which have been discovered in different regions throughout the world. Bronze is composed of different metal alloys, such as copper and tin. When all combined, the alloys create a strong metal that is not only beautiful in appearance, but also highly resilient against the elements and extremely durable. Many famous sculptures that have survived the millennia still feature exquisitely detailed features that have not faded but simply gained a patina, which is one of the sought after features of bronze. But that is not to say that bronze was only used to create works of art. Earlier applications include tool making and even household items, such as bowls, utensils, and even wine jars. Bronze helmets were even used to cover funerary urns made of ceramic, which usually held the cremated ashes of a fallen warrior. The fact that these artifacts have survived the centuries stands to reason why bronze was eventually used to craft memorials, specifically cremation urns.

Bronze cremation urns are, of course, made of bronze that is as resilient, if not more, than that of days of old. There are two distinct styles of bronze urns: those created from poured or cast bronze, and those created from sheet metal bronze. The pieces that are made by the way of pouring are often small sculptures that are hollow to accept ashes, but can also be in the shape of a plain or accented rectangular box. These beautiful urns are crafted with the same standards that would be seen in creating elegant and intricate works of art, and many of the poured or cast urns are one solid piece, with a plate or plug that would be used to secure the cremation ashes. The latter style usually features a rectangular-shaped box that is assembled from sheets of bronze, and the edges can be left to show the seams, or welded so it appears solid. These beautiful funerary boxes can be personalized with engraving of personal information, and even etching of a scene or image. While the sheet metal bronze urns are typically less expensive than cast pieces, both styles offer cremation urns that are as elegant as they are durable.

Bronze cremation urns are highly sought after for their recognizably rich color, and timeless beauty. These vessels are appropriate to display in the home, place in a mausoleum niche, or even inter if the family so desires. With a beautiful bronze urn, nearly anyone can be memorialized for the ages.

TESTIMONIALS
"I ordered a necklace for my mother as a Christmas gift. After unpacking my item, I set the packaging on the table and walked away to admire my purchase. Upon returning to the table, I had to do a double take because on the bubble wrap was a yellow post it note that said, "Happy Holidays". I was shocked to see that an employee of this company took the time to hand write a note and place it on the packaging. This made the gift all the more personal and I felt compelled to contact the company to thank them. I spoke with a woman and she was a pleasure to speak with. Unfortunate circumstances lead to purchases like this, but I will plan to keep this company in mind for a very long time. Customer service, shipping time (even around Christmas) and overall rating in my opinion was EXCEPTIONAL! "
