What Are Engraved Urn Nameplates?

If you are working with an urn that already has a nameplate slot or recess built into its design, be sure to verify the dimensions before ordering to ensure a proper fit.

Choosing the Right Nameplate for Your Urn

Shape compatibility is the most important factor. Flat plates require a flat surface and will not adhere cleanly to curved or vase-shaped containers. If your urn is round, cylindrical or asymmetrical, choose a hanging nameplate or an easel style. When ordering for a wooden urn, a flat adhesive or screw-mount plate is usually the best fit. For bronze urns, a hanging plate on a cord is most commonly used.
