White Gold Cremation Jewelry
Most of our cremation necklaces that come in white gold are also 14k or 18k in weight, just like our regular yellow gold jewelry. Similarly priced to our yellow gold, our white gold pieces have that classic sheen and weight that you are accustomed to with a well made piece of white gold jewelry.
18K & 14K Gold Cremation Jewelry

Each piece holds about a teaspoon of ashes and many of our gold cremation jewelry pieces can be engraved with a special message to hold that special one's memory always in your mind.
What is the best way to take care of gold cremation jewelry?
First, it's important to understand that gold is a soft metal and therefore it is capable of getting dents or scratches. Below are some of the top Do and Don't tips on gold cremation jewelry to keep it safe:
Do
- Do store your gold jewelry separate from other jewelry. Gold is a soft metal and so it can easily bend or get scratched if you allow it to mix with other jewelry. If possible, separate each individual piece by using a jewelry box with a separator. Other options are to individually wrap each piece of jewelry in a piece of soft cloth.
- Do hang up gold cremation necklaces so that the chains do not get tangled.
- Do buff your gold jewelry on a regular basis. You can really make your gold jewelry shine by using a soft chamois cloth and then gently rubbing the surface.
Don't
- Do not wear your gold jewelry while doing anything high impact - like sports, moving heavy objects (especially for gold cremation rings). This can dent or scratch the gold.
- Do not wear your gold cremation jewelry in the pool! Gold hates chlorine. Chlorine can cause discoloration.
- Do not wear gold jewelry while cleaning. Household cleaners also can damage gold due to the acids or abrasives inside them.
- Do not put on cosmetics after you put on your gold jewelry. Cosmetics like perfume, lotions, makeup or hairspray have the ability to damage gold. If you put these cosmetics on before you put on your jewelry, you will have a better chance of keeping it damage free.
- Do not wear gold jewelry when bathing. Soap can build up a film on your jewelry and can also dull it.
What is the best way to clean gold cremation jewelry?
Gold jewelry is actually fairly simple to clean compared to other metals like silver. Just follow these simple steps:
- Put a little bit of mild dish detergent into a small bowl. Then, fill the bowl with warm water and mix it - just like you're doing the dishes.
- Next, see if your jewelry has any stones in it:
- If your jewelry has stones in it: Get a cloth and put it into the soap bowl. Then, pull the cloth out and softly wipe down your gold jewelry.
- If your jewelry does not have stones: Place your piece of jewelry into the bowl, rub the surface with your fingers for a couple of minutes and then leave it there for 3 hours.
- Bonus Tip: If your piece is heavily ornamental or detailed, you can also use a Q-tip to get into the crevices.
- Next, grab another bowl and fill it with warm water. Rinse each piece of jewelry in the clean water and make sure there is no soap left on the piece.
- Next, you can either let your jewelry air dry or you can use a soft, dry cloth to gently rub it dry.
- Finally, our recommendation is to clean your gold jewelry every 3-4 months. This keeps it shining brightly for years to come. Also, gold jewelry can be damaged if it's cleaned too often, so keep to a consistent quarterly schedule and your jewelry should do well.
