The Chippewa Cremation Urn is handcrafted and hand-thrown. The urn is a wheel thrown, altered and burnished stoneware piece. This is clearly seen in the diverse colors seen on the urn, as the flame literally paints the surface of the piece. The knob features glass and brass additions. Due to the nature of the materials and the firing process, colors, patterns and actual dimensions may vary a little.
Top opening lid features a deep flange, for a secure closure, but could be sealed with adhesive or silicone caulking facilitating easy removal at a future date.
