Candle Holders

Lighting a candle at the final resting place of a loved one has been a long-practiced tradition that, similar to the use of headstones, seems to have transcended many barriers of race, religion, and even, levels of society. This act has many different meanings, which vary greatly from religion to religion, and even, civilization to civilization. The flame of the candle, with its warm, enriching glow, can be a strong symbol in itself, casting away the darkness with pure light. While often the candle is placed at the gravesite of the loved one, many have began to keep a small area of remembrance in the home, complete with a burning candle, to pay homage to the memory of the lost loved one.
