The artist works the glass over a small flame of intense heat, adding luxuriant colors, blowing and shaping the piece to the desired form. A mold is used to uniformly thread the top, so the non corrosive chrome closure will fit perfectly.

Nice keepsake piece

I bought this for my 21 year old daughter to remember her grandpa. It is bigger than it looks... about the size of a gum ball! And the colors show up much more than the picture shows. Very pleased.
